As in the previous year, the seminar went over very well. Participants from all over the world were welcomed by PALLMANN, Schilling-Knobel and Olbricht companies in the evening of May 2, 2005 in the hotel "Europas Rosengarten". Initial contacts were formed and existing relationships were cultivated while a small buffet was served.

The actual seminar took place on the following day in the "Romantik Hotel Fasanerie".
About 9 lectures were given which informed the participants on information worth knowing and novelties in the field of press technology, wood-plastic composites, UV-technology, decorative flooring effects as well as cutting technology and accessories for the floor covering industry and its suppliers.

In order to liven up the lectures, an organised company tour of the hosting company, PALLMANN Maschinenfabrik was offered. The participants could go and see the efficient, modern production of size reduction machines and systems for the pre- and post-treatment of the basic materials for floor coverings.

The seminar ended in the evening of May 3, 2005. The participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences of the day while enjoying a fabulous buffet-style dinner which definitely met all expectations.

All in all a very successful seminar, leaving one with the desire to attend the next one. The next seminar will probably take place in 2006 and will be hosted by Olbricht company. We would be happy if the third "Flooring Seminar" had the same response.
